In  the bathtub in Japan, I found a not yet proven theory of why Neptune’s moon Triton is getting closer to the planet. It may be true, may not.

Every year, Triton is getting closer to Neptune. It is probably because there is a place, just outside the planet, and probably there are some gravity forces made by the planet to pull the moon in. If this is true, Triton should be just on the edge of this force. That’s probably why Triton is getting closer to Neptune.

A good website.

It’s all thanks to this book: Scholastic Science Readers: Solar System
